New ANZAC Book Release

I love writing books that challenge preconceptions. When I read, I want to be entertained but also learn something new, and be intrigued and challenged. When I finish reading a good book, it stays with me for days. That’s what I call an excellent book!

My first creative, non-fiction novel No Ordinary Man, does exactly that. With 5-Star reviews and positive emails, this new book delivers fascination and intrigue. Many readers have told me they didn’t expect to be so absorbed in the story and couldn’t put it down.

I was born in New Zealand and lived in South Africa during the turbulent 1980’s. Originally, I enjoyed a successful career as a newspaper and magazine journalist before returning home to Auckland in 1994. Recently, I took a two-year sabbatical to research and write this first book, based on the true story of an ANZAC soldiers’ struggle with his sexual identity.

I am currently completing, In the Deep End, a work of fiction, which explores the taboo subject of polyandry. This narrative delves into the complexities of marriage and navigates the love bonds between two married couples. This riveting story challenges social convention. It will be released in mid-2019.
